Food Insecurity
On-site Mini Reading Corner
On-site Mini Reading Corner
Through our partnership with Wawa and other community supporters, Fueling Young Minds helps provide meals and food resources to children and families facing food insecurity that live in motels.
Our goal is simple: reduce one barrier so children can focus on learning, growing, and thriving.

On-site Mini Reading Corner
Our on-site contirbution to a Reading Corner at the motel gives children access to books in a welcoming, familiar environment.
By making reading materials available where families live, we help encourage literacy, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning.

College& Test Preparation
Fueling Young Minds supports high school students living in motels with PSAT and SAT testing costs, study materials, and college-readiness support.
Our goal is to help students pursue college and career opportunities regardless of their family’s financial circumstances.
A Community Partnership with Wawa
Fueling Young Minds is proud to partner with Wawa in supporting children and families in our community. Their generosity helps us provide meaningful resources and experiences to the young people we serve.
A special thank-you to Noah Green, who has been an incredible supporter of Fueling Young Minds and our mission. His continued encouragement, responsiveness, and willingness to help have made a genuine difference as we work to expand opportunities for children who need them most.
Partnerships like this are what allow Fueling Young Minds to turn community support into real impact.
The Fresh Market
Thank you for sponsoring our Special Events!
Bilingual STEM Books
Bilingual English/Spanish children’s books that bring energy, technology, and logistics to life. These stories feature diverse characters kids can relate to, making representation real. With QR codes for read-aloud support, parents and children can learn side by side, building both literacy and curiosity.
STEM Days & Events
Hands-on experiences where children explore clean energy, logistics, and safety in action.
From simple science experiments to interactive demos, these events show kids that math, science, and technology are not abstract- they’re tools for solving problems, helping communities, and shaping the future.
Building Confidence Through Hands-On Drone Technology
Fueling Young Minds creates opportunities for children to explore technology beyond the classroom.
Through hands-on experiences with drones, aviation, and emerging technology, students are introduced to new skills while building curiosity, confidence, and an understanding of future STEM career pathways.
Experiences like this help students see that technology is not only something they can use—it is something they can learn, operate, and one day help shape.
